2006-06-14 New POPs Technology Specification and Data Sheets now available in IHPA Library!
John Vijgen of IHPA and Dr.Ir. Ron McDowall, Auckland New Zealand have made 7 POPs Technology Specification and Data Sheets for the Secretariat of the Basel Convention. Additional to each Sheet a special Annex has been made with specific project data and destruction data and so on. The Sheets include detailed descriptions of the following technologies:
- Alkali-Metal-Reduction
- Autoclaving
- Base Catalyzed Decomposition (BCD)
- Cement Kiln Co-Processing (High Temperature Treatment)
- Gas-Phase Chemical Reduction (GPCR)
- Hazardous Waste Incineration-Plasma Arc (PLASCON)
